Additional Property Attributes

The Site is vacant with two (2) concrete pads on the northwest portion of the Site formerly used to support metal shredding equipment. The Site was apparently operated as a scrap metal recycling facility between 1926 and 1998, and has apparently been vacant since 1998. The ground surface is covered with debris indicative of a scrap metal recycling business. There are also foundry sculls on the Site. The Site is surrounded on 2 sides with a chain-link fence. The Site is accessed on the north side from a drive on the west side of S. Miami Street. Based upon the results of this investigation, concentrations of metals and PCBs were present in the surface soil, subsurface soil, and groundwater at concentrations in excess of the regulatory Screening Levels.

Former Use: Site is vacant and is developed. Abe Sposeep & Sons, Inc. (metal recycling and scrap processing) was on-site 1926-1998.
