Additional Property Attributes

The site consists of a vacant commercial building. Historically, the site has been the location of the Watsons Food Center, a gas station and convenience store, and a bar/nightclub.

Former Use: Based on a review of historical information, the site located at 660 Inman Street in Cleveland, Bradley County, Tennessee has been developed since the early 1900s. The site was first developed as residential property in the early 1900s and was later redeveloped as a Watsons Produce in 1962. The 1966 historical fire insurance map depicted two underground storage tanks located on site. The site operated as a gas station and convenience store until three underground storage tanks were permanently closed in 1991 and 1992. The site operated under the name Favorite Market # 70 at the time of closure. A review of the EDR database revealed the Favorite Market # 70 facility operated three USTs that were installed in 1971. During the historical interview conducted with Mr. Bruce Rohrbaugh of TDEC, he stated that a total of three USTs were closed at the Favorite Market # 70 site in 1991 and 1992. The site was received a clean closure letter from TDEC in 1992. However at the time of the UST closure, TDEC did not require the removal of the product line trench and fuel dispensers. Therefore, based on the information presented above, the UST systems previously in operation at the site represent a REC to the site at this time.
