Property Highlights

Former Use: Based on the data included in the MDNR UST database, three USTs were installed on August 1, 1971; the tanks were last used in June 1997. MDNR removed the USTs in April 2010. The USTs were removed using EPA ARRA RLF funding in 2010. Additional assessment is needed to delineate extent of contamination. Tower Grove Neighborhoods Community Development Corporation (TGNCDC) is interested in acquiring the site for residential multifamily redevelopment. A risk assessment was completed, and a plume stability analysis and quarterly groundwater monitoring was completed in 2020 to ensure all concentrations are below expected used RBTLs. Plume stability completed, and a No Further Action Letter received for Residential use. Site will have monitoring wells removed and then be fully closed out for potential residential development.
