Additional Property Attributes

As of 6/21/13, the property sale has not occurred, and cleanup has not started. An October 2011 Phase I Assessment was done on behalf of a perspective buyer. Although the Phase I report was referenced in the Phase II Report, there is no information on the cost of the report (for leveraged funds).

Former Use: This property was formerly a manufacturing facility, Hobart Corporation. Hobart ceased site operations in 1984. Subsequently, Gopher State Litho, a commercial printing business, operated at the site from 1984 until 2010. The City used the Assessment Grant funds to further the possibility of the purchase of the site for redevelopment by Redesign Realty LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Seward Redesign, a nonprofit Community Development Corporation.
