Additional Property Attributes

Property cleanup will need to be cleaned up prior to redevelopment. The developer (the Ackerberg Group), is retaining a consultant to develop a Response Action Plan as of June 20, 2013. They plan to move ahead with site redevelopment.

Former Use: The property was initially developed in the late 1800s. The site has long been used for manufacturing operations, which have included foundry, blacksmith, painting, bronzing, and machining operations as well as printing and felting. Past operations likely included the use of heavy metals, solvents, petroleum products and other hazardous substances. There western portion of the site features adjoining one to four story buildings that were used for industrial purposes.
