Additional Property Attributes

Leveraged accomplishment consisted of one-day Limited Soil Removal Action conducted by site owner to address soil containing PAH in accordance with option under state program, thus supporting ownership transaction to Town and redevelopment. The Danforth Green project reclaimed a former gravel pit, turning it into a 353-unit residential community with a New England village feel. This project features more than 100 acres that are preserved as open space, 180 luxury rental apartments and 173 townhomes along the Sudbury River in Framingham, MA. The picturesque community, which borders the town of Wayland, is within two miles of Interstate 90/The Massachusetts Turnpike and the Natick Mall. After Baystone Master Planned and fully permitted this community, portions were sold to Avalon and Brendon Homes.

Former Use: Property is one parcel of subject site known as Danforth Green. Site was used for sand and gravel extraction operations from the 1930s to the 1970s. Secondary site uses included a compost facilitiy in the 1990s and a construction staging area associated with construction of abutting potable water infrastructure.
