Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Phase I ESA identified the former use of the property as a gasoline/service station, automobile dealership, and body shop. The property is currently used as a seasonal flower shop, Guffey�s Flowers. The property consists of three parcels of land including a southern parcel (101 North Walnut Street), a northeast parcel (301 West Main Street), and a northwest parcel (no address). The southern parcel is identified as parcel number 05 10-404-166.000-05, the northeast parcel is identified as 05-10-404-097.000-05, and the northwest parcel is identified as 05-10-404-096.000-05. An approximately 1,362-square foot building is located in the northwest corner of the southern parcel. Cardno ATC had limited access to the on-site building and was unable to take interior photographs. Cardno ATC gained interior access to publicly available portions of the southern half of the building and viewed interior portions of the northern half of the building through glass windows and an open overhead door. Cardno ATC observed an office area in the southern portion of the building and a storage area in the northern portion of the building. The northern portion of the building appeared to formerly be used as a garage for automotive maintenance. The rest of the southern parcel consists of asphalt paved ground cover. The majority of the paved area is covered with tables used to display flowers for the on-site flower business. Portable tents are located above many of the tables. Due to the presence of tables and tents on the property, observations of the paved area were limited. Cardno ATC observed a patch of gravel to the south of the building that appeared to be a former UST pit. The two northern parcels are vacant and consist of gravel and vegetation. A paved alley divides the southern parcel from the two northern parcels.
