Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Property consists of six (6) adjoining parcels of vacant land. Remnant concrete building slabs remain on the site with minimal grassy areas. The parcels were formerly used as gasoline filling stations. Historical filling station operations conducted at 402 East Main Street (PIN 23-08-228-005) between 1924 and 1965 with the use of at least three (3) underground storage tanks (USTs). The USTs may remain at the property. Historical filling station operations conducted at 410 East Main Street (PIN 23-08-228-006 and 23-08-228-007) between 1945 and 1999. Pre-1974 USTs may remain on the site. An NFR Letter was issued for two (2) petroleum releases at 410 East Main Street. Documented petroleum soil and groundwater contamination may remain at the site due to the NFR?s industrial/commercial land use limitation. The historical presence of chlorinated solvent contamination at 410 East Main Street, as documented from groundwater sampling in 1989 and 1990. The City of Danville currently owns the Property. Jason Johnson was the immediate past owner of 402 East Main Street. Real Building LLC was the immediate past owner of 410 East Main Street.
