Additional Property Attributes

FY 2014 US EPA Cleanup Grant funded the cleanup of approximately 532.851 tons of petroleum and lead contaminated soil and the complete removal of 2 underground storage tanks. A total of 1,337 gallons of oily wastewater was removed and disposed from the tanks.

Former Use: According to the Lucas Couty Auditor, the property has been used for manufacturing activities since at least the late 1800s. Companies formerly operated included Talk-O-Phone Company, Willys Overland, and Cheverolet Toledo Division of General Motors. All aboveground structures were razed by 1993. The northern portion of the property has recently been used by an excavation company for the storage of equipment and supplies.
