Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Reasonably ascertainable records for the subject property extended back to approximately 1885. Data failure occurred prior to that date, between 1910 and 1918, and between 1925 and 1948. Standard and other historical sources were able to document that the subject property was developed prior to 1885 with a dwelling and associated outbuildings and stables. The property was occupied by the dwelling and various outbuildings and stables until between 1925 and 1948, when buildings were demolished and the current building, a shed, and store building were constructed. A used car sales building was constructed on the western portion between 1948 and 1959. The shed, store building, and used car sales building were demolished between 1959 and 1960. The current building has been occupied by the City Hall and an armory until at least 1959. The Phase I did not identify any automotive service operations associated with the former used car sales operations.
