Additional Property Attributes

The former buildings have been demolished. The site is included in a conceptual plan for redevelopment of the Kalamazoo River through downtown Battle Creek. The site is planned for redevelopment with kayak access and park amenities.

Former Use: The property was developed with residences by the 1890s. By 1962, the current commercial building was constructed on the property. The building was occupied by a car wash operation from the 1970s through at least 2007. The building was vacant in 2014.
