Additional Property Attributes

The project will involve construction of public roads and development of 70 residential site condominiums (with unfinished lots ranging from 50,000 for interior properties and 125,000 for waterfront properties). The project will likely result in 30 or more construction jobs during the estimated 36 to 48 months of construction. In addition; the improvement of public health and safety due to lack exposure from contaminants, improvement in environmental health and health of lakeshore environment.

Former Use: The property was formerly part of a larger parcel of property owned by Continental Motors/Teledyne which manufactured automotive, truck, and airplane engines. This site is a site of known impacts � primarily from fill materials that were placed on the property over the years. Metals and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons have been the most prominent contaminants found in soil throughout the Muskegon Lake Shoreline and on this parcel.
