New Redevelopment includes portions of the property for mixed use commercial and industrial

Former Use: Standard and other historical sources were able to document that the first developed use of the property occurred prior to 1937 with agricultural fields in the eastern portion of the property. The eastern portion was utilized for agricultural purposes until the 1960s and 1970s. Several structures were constructed in the northeastern portion of the property between 1937 and 1940. One of the structures was demolished between 1952 and 1957, and two additional structures were constructed between 1952 and 1957 and between 1961 and 1963, respectively. The property was likely utilized for residential purposes from at least 1940 until the early 1960s. The original structures appear to have consisted of a residential dwelling and barns. Three of the structures were demolished between 1963 and 1967, and the two remaining structures were demolished between 1967 and 1974. A new structure was constructed in the northeastern portion between 1967 and 1974, which was demolished between 1983 and 1990. The building constructed by 1974 was identified in Fire Department records in 1977 as an ?industrial garage? and ?mobile waste garage?. Review of aerial photographs document landfill activities in the northeastern portion of the property in at least 1963. Landfill activities spread throughout the eastern portion of the subject property in the 1960s and 1970s. Landfilling activities reportedly ceased in September 1979, and the landfill was closed by 1983. The eastern portion of the property was vacant land until between 1997 and 1999, when the current buildings and former golf dome were constructed. The golf dome was removed in 2015. The subject property operated as a sports and golf complex with a miniature golf course, outdoor driving range, and indoor driving range/sports fields from 1999 until 2014 and has been utilized as a fitness center since 2014. The western portion has historically consisted of vacant land.
