Former Use: The subject property is located in the city of Sturgis and consists of approximately 0.5 acre, located on the corner of West Chicago Road and South Orange Street. The current Wood Motel was developed between 1954 and 1956; before it was constructed, the property was residential. The property consists of three buildings: one small building on the northwest corner, the main L-shaped building that has 10 motel rooms and one two-story apartment, and the back building containing six motel rooms. The building is now vacant and has been since 2010.
