Additional Property Attributes

The property was purchased by a new high-tech industrial company and was redeveloped/modified to support their automotive part manufacturing operation.

Former Use: The Property was part of the Fort Custer Military Reservation from at least 1917 until the military base closed in 1964 and the Property and surrounding area were transferred into the Fort Custer Industrial Park. During this time, the Property was vacant land except for an above-ground settling containment structure that was located in the area south of the existing building. In 2001, the existing building was constructed for use as a trucking terminal for Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. Trucking operations continued through at least 2012.
