Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The property and buildings are occupied by the Corval Group, a metal fabrication business. Historical information concerning the subject property was available back to 1916 in real estate atlases, 1934 in aerial photographs, and 1950 in Sanborn Fire Insurance maps. Information available from the City of Lauderdale and Ramsey County was also reviewed. Based on the available information, the subject property appears to have been undeveloped from 1916 until the original section of the existing 1633 Eustis Street structure was constructed in 1942. This building was utilized by a hearing aid manufacturer from at least 1950 through 1955. An addition to the 1633 Eustis Street structure was constructed by 1966 and the building was utilized by a data machine manufacturer by 1967. The existing 1631 Eustis Street structure was constructed in 1980. It appears that Corval Group, under various names including NewMech and Lawden, has utilized the property since the early 1980s.
