Additional Property Attributes

The Site is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of North 2nd Street and West Oliver Avenue in the city of Duquesne, Allegheny County, The Site is currently owned by the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Duquesne (RACD) and recorded in the Allegheny County Tax Assessment as parcel 304-S-228. Figure 2-2 provides an aerial photograph of the Site and a depiction of the parcel boundaries. There is currently one structure on Site, consisting of a former automobile garage facility (converted into a retail store) with a two-story adjoining office/storage structure.

Former Use: The Site was apparently used as a residential dwelling from approximately 1898 through 1940. Circa 1940, the Site use switched to that of a gasoline filling station and automotive repair facility. These operations continued until approximately 1982, when the property was used as a cinematography supply facility. The Site has been vacant since 1999.
