Additional Property Attributes

This property contains several building foundations from a former agricultural processing plant. There are no buildings on the site, just foundations. The additional sampling that was conducted to limit the amount of building materials that were to be disposed in the landfill, thus limiting costs. Based on our assessment of this site, cleanup activities will be conducted by the Hardee County Industrial Development Authority using their own funds.

Former Use: This property contained a citrus juice processing plant for several years along a former rail road line in Central Florida. The plant was closed and demolished in the late 1990s/early 2000s, with only the concrete building foundations remaining.
