Additional Property Attributes

The City of Newburyport has formally identified the Green Street Parking Lot as a potential multi-level mixed-used parking garage. The property is strategically located within the central business district with close proximity to retail stores, restaurants, and the Merrimack River. It represents a key component of the city's master plan. Presently, public parking is limited to a few surface lots. Visitors to the city are often discouraged to visit during peak periods because of a lack of parking accomodation. (PPF attached to QR 8, 7/1/05-9/30/05)

Former Use: Various businesses used to operate on the property. Current use is a surface parking lot.
