Additional Property Attributes

Redevelop the property into market rate apartments. 100,000 square feet of residential space is anticipated. Once the property is acquired, construction is anticipated to take 24 months.

Former Use: Standard and other historical sources were able to document that the property was developed in 1954, with the construction of the southwestern portion of a building in the western portion. Prior to 1952, the property was vacant land. Additions were constructed to eastern portion of the building between 1957 and 1963; and in 1965, 1971 and 1975. The subject property was occupied by various residential/commercial door manufacturing companies, the most predominant of which was the Stanley Door Company, from at least 1954 until approximately 2000. Historical operations consisted of metal fabrication, painting via both spray painting and dipping systems, polyurethane foam mixing and injection, and maintenance activities. The former building was demolished in late 2005/early 2006, and the subject property has been vacant land since 2006.
