Additional Property Attributes

This industrial warehouse building was destroyed in a 1996 fire. The property has been used by various chemical packaging companies from 1997 until 2013 and has been vacant since 2013. The building pad remains but has not been redeveloped. The property is equipped with Florida East Coast Rail spur and County provided utilities. It is situated close to US-1 & I-95.

Former Use: The site is a 5.92-acre parcel is developed with 9,000-sq.-ft. warehouse building, a 3,344-sq.-ft. office/storage building, a 294-sq.-ft. utility building, security fencing, asphalt pavement, a raised concrete pad (former large warehouse footprint), aboveground storage tank concrete containment area, and a railroad spur. Chemicals were delivered in bulk via rail tank car and transferred to ASTs. The property was undeveloped wooded land until 1984 when the existing industrial building was developed. A 1996 fire destroyed much of the building. Various chemical packaging companies including Culbertsons Plastics, Chem-lease, Sunbelt Chemical, Kaskam Chemicals, and Associated Chemists operated at the site. The property has been vacant since 2012. The site owner is Matschel of Flagler, Inc. Past owners include Gregory Eriksen, ITT Land Corporation, ITT Community Development Corp. and Russell L. Franks.
