Additional Property Attributes

The Property is located within a commercial area of downtown Middletown. The Phase I assessment revealed no evidence of Identified Areas in connection with the Property. No further investigation is recommended relative to enviornmental conditions at the Property. Based on limited sampling results, asbestos-containing materials identified in the structure include: � 9�x9� floor tile and affilated mastic In accordance with the EPA, materials that are considered to be asbestos-containing may need to be removed prior to demolition activities in the event these activities have the potential to damage or render them friable.

Former Use: The Property is occupied by a single 1- to 3- story building and associated grassy area. The building was constructed in 1904, is currently vacant, and is in an advaced state of disrepair. The Property was first developed for use prior to 1876 and is situated within a commercial area in downtown Middletown. The City aquired the Property during a Sheriff's sale and wishes to redevelop the Property for continued commercial use.
