Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site currently consists of undeveloped lots adjacent to High Ridge Road. The site is also adjacent to occupied, residential lots. Road construction was occurring across the southeastern part of the Site (at 5424 High Ridge Road) at the time of the Site visit. No buildings are present on the Site. Residences that once occupied the site have been removed. A large concrete slab is present at 5424 High Ridge Road at the southeast portion of the Site. An abrupt break in slope up to about 10 feet high is present along the southwest boundary. Trash and litter was observed on the ground surface. This litter consisted of small pieces of paper, plastic bags, foam cups, metallic debris, broken glass, and a short section of corrugated fiberglass roofing material. The remnant of a utility pole was identified at 5420 High Ridge Road at the southeast portion of the Site. Small piles of concrete and asphalt, and what appeared to be remnants of driveways or building foundations were observed at the Site. The piles of concrete and asphalt appeared to be related to clearing of the residences from the Site. In addition, piles of sand and gravel that were observed also appeared to be related to clearing of the Site and road construction through the Site. A large concrete pad was observed at the southeast portion of the Site at 5424 High Ridge Road. This pad may have originally been used as a building foundation.The Phase I ESA performed for this Site did not reveal RECs in connection with the property. One HREC was identified (Royal Market) related to groundwater contamination from an LPST.
