Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The subject property consists of one elementary school building (one story) which totals 120,324 square feet. The northwestern portion of the building, a recent addition, has a basement and an elevator. The school building consists of classrooms, lobby, cafeteria, kitchen, resource room, library and a gymnasium. Interior finish materials consist of 2x2 foot acoustic ceiling tiles, fibrous ceiling panels, concrete block walls, 9x9 inch ceramic floor tiles, and vinyl flooring. An asphalt paved parking lot is present to the east of the subject building. A drive is present north of the subject building. The remainder of the property contains groomed grass and playground areas. Standard and other historical sources were able to document that the subject property has been utilized as an elementary school since construction in 1960. The property was undeveloped land prior to construction of the elementary school. Asbestos containing materials - Based upon PM's limited visual observations during the site reconnaissance, suspect asbestos containing building materials (ACBMs) identified included 9x9 and 12x12 inch floor tiles and 2x2 foot acoustic ceiling tiles. The materials appeared to be in good condition. If any significant demolition or renovation activities are planned, it is recommended that an ACBM survey be completed by a qualified inspector.
