Additional Property Attributes

Following completion of a hazardous materials assessment, an abatement contractor conducted removal and proper disposal of: asbestos-containing thermal system insulation (basement), cementitious ceiling panels, black paper flooring liner and mastic , floor tile mastic and floor leveling compound, wallboard system contaminated with asbestos-containing joint compound , assumed asbestos-containing fire doors, wallboard, floor tile, and assumed asbestos-containing textured plaster on the underside of the exterior soffit , removal and proper disposal or recycling of fluorescent light fixture tubes and fluorescent light fixture ballasts within the building, and removal and proper disposal of elemental mercury thermostat switches in the building. The historic downtown building was subsequently renovated into offices for a community foundation.
