Additional Property Attributes

Debris was observed in ~5-7 piles on the property which were observed to contain tires, rusted metal items, rusted drums (~8) and smaller containers, and car parts. An underground petroleum fuel system was known to have been located/operated near the southeast corner of the former store building (based on interviews and historical photographs), but no storage tank removal records were found or tank system components (e.g., fill/vent piping) were observed during the walkover.

Former Use: The property was developed with a residence and store in the 1920s, was destroyed by fire and rebuilt in the 1940s, was operated as a store into the 1970s, and was last occupied as a residence in 2004. Marathon County acquired the property through tax delinquency in 2012.
