Additional Property Attributes

This former DCNR property was demolished in 2015 and rebuilt as the STEP RiverWalk Center for Aging. The new facility opened on January 15, 2016 and offers wellness and social programs for senior citizens.

Former Use: The Site also known as Parcel Number 51-002-211, measures 138.40 feet wide and 174.33 feet deep consisting of approximately 0.55 acres. The site slopes gently downward from south to north. Historically there were 3 separate detached structures at the center of the Site, asphalt and gravel parking areas along the northern and eastern sides, concrete sidewalk along the southern edge of the site and surrounding the southeastern corner of the southern structure. The remaining areas of the site to the south, east and between the structures were landscaped. A single story 3,055-square foot, slab on grade, brick office building was located in the southern portion of the site. This building was constructed in 1965 and an addition was added in the late 1980s to the west side of the structure.
