Larsen Green is a 20-plus acre Site formerly home to a vegetable canning facility which operated for over 100 years. Located at the northern end of the historic Broadway district, the site contains several former warehouse and processing facilities. The facility commonly referred to as �Building D� was transformed from a blighted eyesore to a multi-million dollar redevelopment which houses spaces for local businesses. EPA funds were utilized to complete Phase I and II ESAs prior to development.

Former Use: The Property consists of three parcels of land totaling 1.35 acres near downtown Green Bay. The Property was formerly part of a larger canning facility which is referred to as the Larsen Canning Company, Dean Foods Vegetable Company, and/or Birds Eye Foods (herein referred to as Former Cannery) that was formerly located at 300 to 600 North Broadway. The Larsen Canning Company was established in the late 1800s and operated at the Property as a canning company until approximately 2003. The first warehouse buildings associated with the Former Cannery on the Property was first depicted on the 1900 Sanborn� fire insurance map. Several buildings associated with the Former Cannery were constructed, removed and replaced on the Property over the last
