Additional Property Attributes

The project team successfully removed, transported and appropriately disposed of a 1,500 gallon capacity UST and a 10,000 gallon capacity UST. From July 28-29, 2015, a total of 357.83 tons of petroleum impacted soils from the four impact areas and two UST areas were excavated, transported and disposed. Initial confirmation sampling identified additional areas requiring excavation. An additional 72.04 tons of soil was excavated and disposed of at Vienna Junction Landfill in Erie, Michigan from August 10-11, 2015. Confirmation samples were again collected on August 10, 2015 and August 19, 2015 from the excavated areas. Following review of the analytical data, additional excavations were completed on October 1, 2015. An additional 102.98 tons of impacted soil was removed and disposed of at Vienna Landfill in Erie, Michigan. Summary: � 532.85 tons of petroleum impacted soils were excavated and disposed of from the four remedial and two UST areas. � 1,337 gallons of oily waste from the USTs were removed and disposed. � 2,145 tons of clean material was transported by City of Toledo to the property and used to backfill excavated areas.
