Additional Property Attributes

The Phase I ESA was conducted in the context of a real estate transaction. A new Ford dealership opened at this site in 2016. The property has been extensively renovated and now provides employment and tax revenue. A previous Phase II was conducted on the property in 2013. The results of the Phase II ESA determined that several volatile organic compounds were detected in all of the soil samples and the groundwater sample (with the exception of soil sample GTA-3(8) at concentrations above laboratory reporting limits, but below their applicable Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) Non-Residential Medium-Specific Concentrations (MSCs) for Used Aquifers. The Phase II ESA concluded that no additional RECs were found on the Site.

Former Use: The Site remained undeveloped/wooded land until the late 1960s. As more residential structures started to be constructed in White Oak, the surrounding areas also became developed with commercial and residential properties. The Site shows developmental activities in 1967 with the commencement of the construction of the existing structure and parking lots which concluded by 1973. The Site was utilized as a car dealership, circa 1973-2012. From 2012 to present day, the Site was vacant and remains relatively unchanged.
