The Site was constructed in 1896 for use as an Opera House on the second floor with commercial space on the ground level. The structure has changed services over the year from an Opera House to a place to view Moving Pictures before the Ritz Theater was constructed to the north of the Opera House. At some point the Opera House was converted to four apartment units and the third floor was used as a storage space. Prior to construction of the Opera House the site was utilized as office space and a furniture store.
