Additional Property Attributes

The approximately 1.04-acre Site is currently owned by Amoma LLC as a former industrial textile complex that manufactured narrow fabrics and braided, knitted and woven decorative trimmings; this company was known as Trimtex. The factory has not been in operation since the early 2000s. Evidence of past industrial processes remain on the property including former textile processing machines, various drums of chemicals and oils, dyeing material, strings, finished product, and trash (as of January 2015 Phase I ESA). The parcel at 344 Park Avenue contained predominantly residential development from the early 1900s until the 1960s, when all but one residence was razed. This residence was removed around 1970, and has since been utilized as an unpaved gravel parking lot. In 1912, a shoe and leather manufacturer, as well as various other small industries, were present at the 400 Park Avenue parcel. By 1950, a new building on the parcel was home to the Williamsport Narrow Fabric Co. and in 1958 the building was the location of the Assembled Products of Williamsport, Inc. By the mid-1960s, the building had been expanded and was part of Trimtex, Inc. A Phase II was initiated in 2016. The property was sold in 2016 and the new owner did not want a Phase II. The Phase II was not completed.
