Additional Property Attributes

Plans are awaiting finalization before Phase II work is started; it is anticipated that the property will be utilized for a a mixed-use, infill development. Developer has received a final 6-month extension to develop plans. Likely to result in $75M or more in private investment.

Former Use: Historical sources documented that the property was originally developed with a railroad yard prior to 1888 consisting of numerous buildings and small structures during that time, including, an oil house and coal shed that were present on the property in at least 1888. All of the buildings and railroad spurs associated with the railroad yard were removed by 1960. A commercial building was constructed on the property between 1914 and 1919, which was demolished in 1975. Former occupants included office tenants from at least 1919 until 1959 and a moving contractor warehouse in 1967. The occupants associated with this building from 1960 until 1967 and from 1968 until 1975 could not be determined through review of historical sources; however, based on the layout of the building and the known past uses, the tenants, if any, were likely commercial in nature and included similar operations. The property contained an on-ramp and off-ramp for a nearby highway from at least 1967 until 1999. The property has contained exterior parking since at least 2005.
