Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The primary concern identified (Recognized Environmental Condition) was related to past use of the property by Detroit Edison (DTE) as a disposal area for fly ash. Two 1,000-gallon gasoline underground storage tanks (USTs) were used at the property and have been removed. A release noted at the time of the removal was adequately addressed and the site (ID 37661) achieved regulatory closure in 1994. Past use of the property by A&B Disposal as a recycling center resulted in storage of trash, paint-related materials, and other potential hazardous materials on the ground surface. Inspections by MDEQ in the early 1980s resulted in placement of this site on the Part 201 List (ID 414713).
