Historical documents indicate the site has previously consisted of residential structures, outbuildings, a burned area, opera house, stables, hotel, movie theatre, parking lots, and stores. The City of Texarkana, Texas, indicated that they have owned the site since January 14, 1981 and 301 Main St. used to be a pharmacy and 302 Texas Blvd. used to be the Bowie County Economic Advancement Organization office.
