Lyman Mill was constructed around 1890 and served as the manufacturing headquarters for the John L. Lyman Company (also known as LymTech Scientific), which produced specialized wiping materials used in the medical and electronics industries. The building is historically known as the Dwight Manufacturing Company Mill #7 and focused on textile production prior to ownership by the Lyman Company. Property has remained mostly vacant since 2011 when the company moved to new facilities elsewhere in the City.
