Additional Property Attributes

The community has a provisional plan to re-use the property as a community storage facility.

Former Use: The property is located adjacent to the airstrip in Arctic Village and has been used as a powe plant since 1990. There is a single building on the property and two above ground storage tanks. This single story building was constructed in 1980 and consists of a steel beamed that is approximately 60 by 40 with a gravel floor. It appears to be in relatively good condition although there is damage to the two rolling doors which are stuck in the open position. The building was initially used to garage snow removal equipment for use on the adjacent airstrip (source: Lance Whitwell).
