Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The site consists of two parcels of land located north of the junction of Central and Hancock Streets in the City of Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts. The site occupies an area of 0.4436 acres and is improved with one 5,783 square foot cement block/wood joist and beam automotive garage built in 1950. According to the City of Springfield Zoning Department, the subject site is zoned as Business B (Service Business). The site was originally developed as two residences as early as 1896. The residences were subsequently demolished. Subsequent uses are primarily automotive-related including auto repair and auto body. Multiple USTs have been located on the site and several were reportedly abandoned in place.
