Former Use: The subject property is identified as 2801 12th Avenue East, Sheffield, Colbert County, Alabama, and consists of one parcel totaling 7.18 acres. The subject property is currently vacant land and is currently zoned SF-50: Single Family Residential. Standard and other historical records document that in at least 1928 the southwestern portion of the property was occupied by a baseball field and grand stand seating area. The grand stand seating area was demolished between 1928 and 1949. The former Blake School was constructed in the center of the subject property between 1950 and 1953. The former school was demolished between 2006 and 2009. The property has been vacant land since that time.
