Additional Property Attributes

The property owner is looking to sell the property to the City or private developer in support of a proposed commercial/residential development downtown. This site is a targeted site in the Downtown Strategic Redevelopment Plan. We will continue to market this site to developers.

Former Use: Property has been used primarily since 1968 as an auto parts supply warehouse and store and parking lot (located to the east of the structure). Other uses prior to the auto parts store include Bond Buick, who sold and repaired vehicles onsite. According to the current owner, two hydraulic lifts are still located in the ground where the auto service area existed (prior use - Bond Buick) in the rear of the building. The owner expanded the original building in 1975 for additional warehousing. Later improvements included the addition of an explosion-proof paint mixing room and machine shop.
