Property Highlights

Public access was restricted, when it was discovered that the park was built on a former landfill. The purpose of this remediation was to allow the park to reopen its established recreational facilities.

Former Use: The property consists of approximately 40 acres of land that has been used since the late 1970s as a public park. The site is currently owned by Wayne County and operated by the City of Westland.
