Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: At the time this Phase I was developed, the buildings at 103-107, 143, and 151-159 West 108th Street were utilized as parking garages, and 145-149 West 108th Street was utilized as an emergency senior citizen shelter. The proposed redevelopment plan includes the demolition of the existing structures on the Site and construction of two new 11-story buildings (Buildings 1 and 2) and a rear yard at Building 1. Building 1 (143-159 West 108th Street) will contain approximately 80 income-restricted and 115 age-restricted apartments (combination of studios, one, two, and three bedrooms), 110 transitional beds, and 6,400-square feet of community facility space that will likely include a medical clinic serving residents and the community. Building 1 will include a full cellar. Building 2 (103-107 West 108th Street) will include approximately 82 income-restricted apartments for seniors.
