Additional Property Attributes

The property was being considered for purchase by First Tee of South Central Wisconsin, a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring children and promoting golf. The nonprofit decided not to pursue purchase of the site due to the liability associated with the contamination.

Former Use: The property was a service station from 1964 thru 1993, when five USTs were closed/removed. Since then, the site has been in various auto-related businesses, such as muffler and brake repair, axle repair, etc. A DNR investigation into petroleum contamination at the property opened in 1989 and closed in 2009 with residual soil and groundwater contamination.
