Additional Property Attributes

Automotive service facilities and Greyhound Bus Lines were formerly located at 417 West Grand (currently 417 West Sheridan) according to historical records. Analytical results showed that there was a plume of what was likely weathered gasoline in the soil and groundwater. The developer cleaned up the plume using chemical injection wells, overseen by Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality. Certificate was actually issued on 8/24/2015, but cleanup was done on this site later by the owner, even though it was not required, as part of a cleanup on an adjacent site that was enrolled in the Brownfield Program. ACRES does not allow an earlier certificate date than cleanup date in their data validation.

Former Use: In 1947 a parking garage was built on the site. In 2008, there was a one-story building on site that was used as storage for the adjacent bus station. The site is currently home to vacant buildings and vacant parking lots.
