Additional Property Attributes

The Beasley Property was leased or subleased to various parties form 1969 to 1994 and operated as service station, Chamber of Commerce, and car lot. Mike Cleeves purchased the property in 1982. EPA reported that on June 29, 1994, one 7,000-gallon UST and two 6,500-gallon USTs, all used for gasoline storage were removed. Petroleum was reported to be leaking from one of the tanks during removal and a sample of the groundwater in the excavation showed the presence of gasoline constituents. In November of 1999, free phase product was observed in an on-property monitoring well. A 500-gallon waste oil UST was removed later in 1999 in addition to approximately 180 cubic/yards of soil. Salmon Urban Renewal Agency purchased the property in June 2005 with the intention of remediation and development. (PPF Beasley Property, 9/15/06)
