Property Highlights

The approximately 4-acre Site currently contains an abandoned motel and restaurant littered with oil containers, paint cans and tires. It was undeveloped until 1986 when it was developed into a motel/restaurant. Around 2000, the Site was utilized as a vehicle repair shop. In June 2010, the Indiana State Police discovered a methamphetamine laboratory was operating in the building and removed all related materials. Also documented in June 2010 was a spill of unknown materials. The Site is now owned by Fresh Start which purchased it at tax sale in February 2011.

Former Use: The Site was utilized as a vehicle repair shop and became somewhat of a junkyard during this operation. There was also a methamphetamine laboratory that operated on the property at some point and an unknown chemical spill. The site consists of an approximate 4-acre plot of land intially developed in 1986 and abandoned prior to 2010.
