Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Approximately 0.27 acres of a larger parcel containing approximately 10 acres, one wooden stage structure. No buildings onsite, vacant land and park recreation. Reasonably ascertainable records reviewed as part of this Phase I ESA documented the use of the property back to 1953. Data failure occurred prior to that date, between 1962 and 1971, and between 1971 and 1988. This data failure does not represent a significant data gap. Standard and other historical records were able to document that the first developed use of the subject property occurred between 1962 and 1970 when the property was utilized as sand and gravel storage for barge freight associated with the north adjoining property. The property was utilized as a storage yard of sand and gravel until the early 1980s. By 1988, the property was vacant land with light vegetation on the eastern and southern portions. Between 2009 and 2011, a wooden performance stage was constructed on the central portion of the property for park recreational activities. The property has been utilized for various park functions since the 1980s.
