2 RECs were identified through the Phase I Assessment. -An area located on the northeast side of the hospital building contains 2 known USTs. Both USTs contained diesel fuel and served the backup generators for the hospital building during its operation. The USTs have been emptied since the hospital's closure in 2008. -An area located on the southern side of the hospital building contains 1 known UST. This UST replaced a historical UST that was removed. The UST contained diesel fuel and served the backup generators for Doctors Hospital during its operation. The UST has been emptied since the hospital's closure in 2008.

Former Use: The subject property is situated in a mixed commercial and residential section of Perry Township in Massillon, Ohio. Located at 420 Austin Avenue NW, the subject property is comprised of 1 parcel totaling approximately 9.28 acres. The subject property was developed for commercial use in 1963 and was occupied by the former Doctors Hospital, Stark County Coroner's Office, along with other practicing medical offices. Owned by Cambridge & MacMillan Properties Company, the subject property is currently a vacated group of interconnected hospital buildings, offices, and parking areas.
