Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Subject Property was first developed prior to 1886. According to historical records, the Subject Property was used for various operations including a grocery store, blacksmith shop, harness shop, a filling station, and various trucking and storage companies. Sanborn Maps indicated that the Subject Property contained a filling station with three gasoline storage tanks from at least 1930 to 1949. There is no record that these tanks were properly removed. Development surrounding the Subject Property included the Jamestown Fire Department; an armory and rifle range; an automotive, electric and battery service station; automotive wrecking/junk yard facility; a machine shop; and a chemical facility.
