Additional Property Attributes

The subject property is located at 119 S. Washington Street in Charlotte, Eaton County, Michigan, and consists of one parcel totaling 0.33 acres of land. Eaton Clothing and Furniture Center (ECFC) is a nonprofit retail thrift store selling used donated goods serving the Charlotte community and surrounding areas. ECFC has entered into a lease for a portion of the multi-unit building and has a desire to acquire the property.

Former Use: The Property consists of approximately 0.37 acres developed with an approximately 16,506-square foot, two-story commercial/residential/light industrial building. The Trust of Michael P. and Arletta J. Lahr is the owner of the subject property and formerly operated the property as an automotive parts store. The Property was used as a horse stable from at least 1886 until early 1927. Later in 1927, the Property operated as a used furniture store and car dealership/auto service station. From approximately 1972 until 2014, the Property was occupied by Mike�s Automotive and various commercial businesses. The Property is currently occupied by Cheryl�s Gymnastics, Creative Pulp-Eaton Transition Center Student Hand-made Paper Products, Eaton Clothing & Furniture Center, residents, and the owner (office).
